I screwed up the Zoom

OK I went into Controls and set the Use key to my middle mouse button.  That didnt work to enable the "super zoom" 
So then I set it back to "F" like it was originally.  Now I have lost the ability to change the scope zoom setting.   What did I do wrong?   TIA

Figured it out finally. I didnt remember that Melee was used to zoom in. And had that key set to prone. All good. It's been like 10 years since I've played this.
